    These are the same drinks.. just one uses liqueur over soda.. Bars probably make it the first way, while the proper way is the latter.. also the first drink is tiny, while the second will fill a highball.

    It's hard to say what brand of liquor the bars use, probably bottom shelf stuff.

    So, I have heard that you have to do things differently when cooking for a LOT of people. Anyone had any experience cooking for 300 get or more?

    You just had to ruin cooking for the get, didn't you?

    This is a recipe my sister and I used to make the most orgasmic chocolate cookies I've ever had. Note: we substituted semi-sweet chocolate chunks for the white chocolate chips and just used those and milk chocolate chips. We also used Bailey's for the coffee liqueur.

    * 2 cups all-purpose flour
    * 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    * 1 teaspoon baking soda
    * 1 teaspoon salt
    * 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
    * 3/4 cup white sugar
    * 3/4 cup brown sugar
    * 2 eggs
    * 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    * 2 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur
    * 1 cup finely chopped toasted hazelnuts
    * 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    * 1 cup milk chocolate chips

    Speaking as a man who as eaten these cookies, I warn you to wear a diaper when you eat them. If just reading about them did that, you will shit yourself eating them.

    My sister and I remade this using milk chocolate chips, semi-sweet chunks, mint-covered semi-sweet chips, and a mint and dark chocolate combo package. Greatest... cookies... ever.

    What do you guys think is the best dessert food? For those of you who know me fairly well, you probably already know my choice is brownies. I think when done right, they are just so good, and you can eat a fuckton of them without getting overloaded on sweet.

    Anyway, Favorite/Best Desserts, GO!

    I've decided to try it again over either Thanksgiving or winter break, but I'm going to reverse the cookie and cake batter. That way the pie crust won't come up like it did last time, and the cake batter will have time to cook a bit longer.
    >> No. 272
    Note: the cookie cake pie works better when the cake is added first and the cookie dough placed on top halfway through baking.

    While doing it this way created a more solid cake, I cannot say that it is "better."

    <== Actual photo of the cookies I made :)

    Prep:
    If you can wait 24 hours... add 1/4 tsp peppermint extract to a bag of chocolate chips. Shake them up a bit to spread out the mint. Let them sit 24 hours.
    If you can't wait... add 1/2 tsp to a bag of chocolate chips, shake them to spread the mint around. Wait a few hours, then use them.

    Ingredients:
    2 2/3 cups flour
    1/2 tsp baking sody
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 cup cocoa powder
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    2/3 cup white sugar
    2 sticks softened butter
    3 large eggs

    I want to have a pork chop sandwiches party soon. I may do some previewing this weekend to see what works best. What do y'all think would be the best preparation method for a pork chop meant for a sammich? Marinade? Toppings?

    I'm thinking BBQ style with a shitton of cheese, bacon, and maybe lettuce or tomato or something.

    I've decided to try to bake a chocolate cake from scratch, frosting included. I'll let you all know if it turns out well. Here's the recipe I'm using:

    2 cups sugar
    1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
    1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1 cup boiling water

    1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.

    After looking at the ingredients and recipes for angel food cake I decided against making it. I just know I'd do something wrong since it involves meringue-like beating of egg whites, plus it takes 12 eggs... I'm not buying an extra dozen eggs for one cake.

    So this might be a cake to try when I have money and people who will eat the cake. I know I won't finish an entire angel food cake before it goes stale.

    I have a bunch of chocolate chip cookie recipes that I've found and tried over the years, but Goldman thought it would be fun to have a taste contest. I couldn't think of any other time than the upcoming Rollachan bbq, so here's the question:

    Would you guys be willing to help judge a chocolate chip cookie recipe tasting contest?
